Girl Math Goods / Information
Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Simple Brands Group LLC, doing business as Girl Math Goods (“Girl Math Goods,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information through girlmathgoods.com and related communications.

Information we collect
- Information you provide: email address, message content, survey or preference responses, and information submitted through waitlist, contact, or customer-service forms.
- Waitlist and consent records: the consent language and version shown when you subscribe, signup source, consent timestamp, confirmation status and timestamp, unsubscribe status and timestamp, and technical delivery or synchronization status.
- Transaction information: payment, order, shipping, billing, refund, and fraud-prevention information if ecommerce is later activated. Payment-card details should be processed by the payment provider rather than stored by us.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser/device type, pages requested, timestamps, referring URLs, security logs, and cookie preferences. We use a salted one-way representation of a submitting network address for short-lived abuse prevention rather than adding the raw address to the waitlist record. Optional analytics or marketing data is collected only after the applicable consent control permits it.
How we use information
- Provide and secure the website and respond to requests.
- Confirm requested email subscriptions and manage permissioned Girl Math Goods waitlist, Test Kitchen, founder-story, development-update, and launch communications.
- Maintain consent, confirmation, unsubscribe, suppression, and delivery records.
- Process orders and customer support if commerce is activated.
- Prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- Understand site performance when optional analytics consent has been provided.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable agreements.
Sources and service providers
We collect information directly from you when you choose to join the Girl Math Goods waitlist or email us, automatically from your device through ordinary hosting and security logs, and from service providers supporting hosting, email delivery, security, and website operation. The site uses WordPress and SiteGround hosting infrastructure. At initial waitlist activation, signup and consent records are stored in a dedicated WordPress database table hosted by SiteGround, and requested confirmation and welcome messages are sent through the site’s mail infrastructure. Klaviyo is not connected at initial activation. If an email service provider is connected later, confirmed Girl Math Goods subscriber records may be transferred to that provider to deliver and manage the communications requested by the subscriber. Analytics, advertising, ecommerce, payment, chat, and session-replay services are not enabled.
Cookies and consent
Strictly necessary cookies may be used for security, site operation, and saving privacy choices. Optional analytics or marketing technologies remain off unless you affirmatively accept them. You can reject optional cookies without losing core site access and can change your choice through the permanent Privacy Choices control. Supported Global Privacy Control signals are treated as a request to keep optional tracking disabled. Email signup consent is separate from cookie consent. See the Cookie Policy for the current inventory.
Email choices
Girl Math Goods marketing email requires separate affirmative consent and confirmation of the submitted email address. Consent to Girl Math Goods email does not authorize promotional email from other brands. You may unsubscribe through the link in any marketing message. We retain a limited suppression record as reasonably necessary to honor an unsubscribe request. Transactional or service messages may still be sent when necessary to fulfill a request or order.
Disclosure of information
We may disclose information to contracted service providers operating on our behalf, professional advisers, authorities when legally required, and parties involved in a business transaction. We do not authorize providers to use personal information for unrelated purposes. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will update this disclosure and provide any required choices before changing that practice.
Retention
Unconfirmed waitlist records are deleted after 30 days. Confirmed subscriber and consent records are retained while the subscription remains active and as reasonably necessary afterward for legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, and recordkeeping. Following an unsubscribe or deletion request, we delete or minimize information as appropriate while retaining a limited suppression record when reasonably necessary to honor the choice. Privacy-choice cookies expire after 180 days. Direct correspondence is retained as reasonably needed to respond and maintain appropriate business records. Hosting and security logs are retained according to operational and provider settings. We will update this policy with additional category-specific periods before enabling customer accounts or commerce.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know or access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information and to opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. You may also appeal certain decisions where applicable. We will verify requests appropriately and will not discriminate for exercising applicable rights. See Your Privacy Choices for request instructions.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Girl Math Goods email signup is intended for people who confirm they are at least 18 years old. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
International visitors
The site is operated from the United States. If you access it from another country, information you choose to provide may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date will identify the current version, and material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
